Botany Pond

Botany Pond, a beloved natural landmark, is undergoing significant repairs and enhancements from October 2022 to October 2023. During this period, the pond area will be fenced off to facilitate the construction work. To address public questions and concerns regarding the temporary fencing and to provide insight into the project's goals, the client decided to install informational boards at the construction site. The chosen design approach is "peek-through," offering the public a glimpse of the wildlife and improvements that will be preserved and reintroduced to the pond after the necessary repairs.

Objective:

The primary objective of this project was to create visually engaging and informative "peek-through" boards that would both inform and inspire the public. The boards needed to convey the significance of the pond restoration, highlight the wildlife to be preserved, and provide a sense of anticipation for the improvements.
